Comacchio S.p.A. Launches Comacchio X, Dedicated Mining Exploration Division
Toronto, Canada – March 1, 2026 – Comacchio S.p.A. announces the official launch of Comacchio X, its new Mining Exploration Division, at PDAC taking place in early March. The new division reflects the company’s strategic commitment to the mineral exploration sector and its continued evolution toward increasingly specialized expertise. With more than 20 years of experience in exploration drilling and over 500 rigs sold in more than 40 countries worldwide, Comacchio has established a strong international presence in the sector. The creation of Comacchio X marks a new phase of growth, designed to provide dedicated technical and commercial support tailored specifically to the operational and safety-driven demands of mineral exploration. “Supporting customers in this highly specialized market requires focused expertise and a dedicated structure,” said Emanuele Comacchio, Technical & Sales Manager of the Division. “Comacchio X brings together commercial and technical specialists exclusively dedicated to mineral exploration, including engineers, service assistants, geologists, and experienced industry consultants.” The division offers comprehensive consultancy, supporting customers from machine selection and configuration to on-site commissioning and after-sales service. Strong emphasis is placed on rapid service activation and minimizing operational downtime. The CX Line: Versatile Exploration Solutions At the heart of the new division is the CX line of exploration drill rigs, developed to provide maximum operational adaptability. The range covers pullback capacities from 10 to 50 tons and is available in both truck-mounted and crawler-mounted configurations to suit different site and logistical requirements. The rigs are engineered to support a wide range of drilling applications, including diamond core drilling, reverse circulation (RC), and grade control operations. They can also be configured as multipurpose solutions capable of integrating multiple drilling technologies within a single machine. According to the company, tailor-made configurations and “mining-ready” solutions — complete with required mine documentation — ensure fast and efficient commissioning upon delivery.
